Here are some easy ways to get 10,000 steps a day!

  • Park your car away from the doors. You could gain up to 2,000 extra steps by parking at the end of the parking lot when going to work, running errands, or going to dinner.
  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator. You will burn a lot more calories and gain strength!
  • Get up and move every hour. Even just walking to get a cup of water adds steps and keeps you active!
  • Walk to lunch, don’t drive!
  • When you go to the restroom, walk the perimeter of your home or building.
