Reflecting on 2022

As I reflect on the past 12 months, I am filled with immense gratitude for each member of STI-TEC and SENTIR Research Labs who support our customers, new ventures and partnerships. Our staff continues to demonstrate the innovative spirit and drive that allows us to make a very successful impact with our customers and within our communities.

Here are a few of the highlights:

STI-TEC: Success Story

Winning J8 JROC JCIDS Analysis SupportThe J8 contract is one effort the BD Team spent over two years working with the customer to ensure we were the contractor of choice when they ultimately released the RFP. During our capture efforts, J8 Contracting was forced to use a one-year Direct Award because of timing and funding issues with the acquisition. But we continued to maintain a relationship with the customer, enhancing our exceptional working relationship supporting them on other contracts. As a result, when they released the five-year follow-on contract, STI-TEC was in the best position to bid, win, and transition onto the contract. Through close coordination between BD, Project Ops and Corporate Ops counterparts, we developed a strategy to take over a floundering contract with many vacancies, get it completely staffed with a hybrid PM approach, and receive continuous positive feedback on our ability to “get this contract back on track” so quickly upon award. This is a testament to the collaboration of all three STI-TEC departments from bid, to win and transition.
