Showcasing the Technology, Manufacturing & Defense Sectors, the Technology Coast Manufacturing and Engineering Network (TeCMEN) hosted its eighth annual Industry Day at the Destin Fort Walton Beach Convention Center on May 14, 2025. SENTIR Laboratories’ Don Emerson and Brian Ostermann advertised SENTIR’s capabilities to 400 registered attendees that day. Attendees and other exhibitors represented the government defense sector along the Gulf Coast, fortune 500 defense contractors, mid-sized and small businesses, from the national, regional, and local areas. Additionally, representation included major universities and state colleges from the region, and local area high schools.
TeCMEN was established by the One Okaloosa EDC in 1989 to be the premier business advocate for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) industries. TeCMEN provides opportunities for innovative collaboration and advanced technical expertise locally, regionally, and in the competitive global marketplace.
