Latrice began working at STI-TEC in 2017. Throughout her time with the company, she has played an integral role on several contracts and has gained recognition for her hard work and her driven mindset.  Latrice started at the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in Baltimore as a Casualty Report (CASREP) System Engineer, and later moved to the United States Marine Corps (USMC) at the Pentagon as a Capability Task Lead.

Currently, Latrice provides support to TAPS as a Program Analyst/ Information Knowledge Manager. Her responsibilities include but are not limited to; implementing and maintaining document libraries and records across various digital platforms and developing information sharing site layouts for content organization and improved user accessibility.

“TAPS has an extensive range of positions that support the technical and engineering enterprise of the Air Force and DoD-Wide. This mission provides me the opportunity to obtain additional technical experience and utilize my education to support the client.”

While providing excellent service on STI-TEC contracts, Latrice also worked to complete her Master’s Degree in Cyber Security. She now possesses 3 college degrees in Cyber and Computer Technology with an impending Security+ certification.

Vice President of Project Operations, Brianna Hendley, who chose to spotlight Latrice, says: “She is a single mom who completed her Master’s Degree all the while working full-time. She does amazing work and somehow figures out how to balance it all! I am so excited to have been able to promote her throughout her tenure with STI-TEC.”

Working at STI-TEC has allowed Latrice to keep her curiosity and drive for learning new things. “STI-TEC has afforded me various opportunities to increase my skillset by placing me on assignments that align with my career goals.”

Latrice also credits the STI-TEC environment for helping her succeed beyond technical experience. “The attentiveness shown towards employees and ensuring that we have a healthy work-life balance and remain goal-oriented are rare but welcoming qualities STI-TEC has maintained for as long as I have been employed.”

When she’s not working, you can find Latrice spending her time with her kids, traveling, working out, gardening, and creating luxury picnic events for clients.
