Dayton, OH – Fairborn-based Solutions Through Innovative Technologies Inc. is one of several companies that were awarded multiple contracts through the United States Air Force with a ceiling of $1 billion. These contracts will provide for research, development, test and evaluation of weapon systems, subsystems, and components. These contracts will also provide for the development and integration of highly specialized technologies necessary to meet Department of Defense test user systems under test and facility needs for developmental test and operational test capabilities.
This contract was a competitive acquistion with 49 offers received; a total of 45 defense companies were awarded work in the contract.
STI-TEC is the eighth largest defense contractor in the Dayton region, according to DBJ research. The firm took in $187.93 million in prime contract awards in 2021.
